Description

The South Downs Bunkhouse is situated at Houghton Farm very close to the point at which The Southdowns Way crosses the River Arun. The Monarchs Way also passes through the village. The accommodation consists of bunk beds in four rooms. There is also a communal room with a TV, free WiFi, oven, hob, microwave, fridge, two toasters, kettle and a basic barbecue in the courtyard outside with fuel available on request at a small charge. Every bed has a power socket and USB charging port available for your devices. Secure bike storage is available along with bike washing facilities as is a paddock or stables for horses. This facility is well suited to walkers, cyclists, horse riders, school parties and visitors to the area who want warm, comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price. There are 20 bed spaces in total, three of the rooms have two bunks and one has four. The mattresses are memory foam for your comfort. Bed spaces are sold on the basis of mixed gender and mixed party occupancy. Should you require single gender or single party occupancy then empty bed spaces in the room are charged at the basic rate.
