I stayed in Castleton YHA, in November this is a classic YHA large old historical building with plenty of character is a beautiful setting, this YHA is very close to Castleton, the nearest Train station is Hope with bus service on the main road, or if you walk a little bit more on the pavement in to Hope there is another bus stop which you get more buses. The staff are friendly and helpful, there is the main building and another possible old stables. Food is severed but you do need to say if you want it for a reasonable price, likewise alcohol or pop is also sold. There was car parking. Overall a nice hostel. Think National Trust building.
