Fantastic little place, very quiet with plenty of walks, both short woodland walk with a quick wander thought the Fairy Glen woodland walk (even better at dust) and to wander further afield. Children welcome but not any amenities for them. You must note, whilst there is a small shop and very helpful staff, there is not much provisions, no toilet/shower block or local shops, although Carisle City centre is only 5 miles away, about a 10 minute drive.
