Description

If you are looking to go camping in the Lake District, then look no further than Park Foot Camping and Touring Park. Set on the banks of Ullswater, in the heart of the Lakes, we have three camping fields, all with electric hook up points, suitable for tents, caravans and motor homes and each have their own modern toilet and shower block. Shop field is situated close to the shop, Sandall Field is situated closer to the club house. Aikbeck Field has access to Lake Ullswater, providing stunning, picturesque views for those long, hot summer nights. There are drinking water taps placed conveniently around all the camping fields. We want our guests to enjoy the experience of camping in Cumbria, so we endeavour to provide a friendly service and impeccable facilities. In doing so we hope our guests will continue to camp in the Lake District year after year, appreciating the beauty of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge and our surrounding area. PLEASE NOTE We allow the use of raised BBQs, but campfires are not permitted. In welcoming specifically family campers & couples to Park Foot it follows that there are some campers that we are unable to accept. We realise that different people have different holiday requirements and simply acknowledge that we cannot be all things to all people without compromising the service that we offer. We therefore do not accept single-sex groups and non family bookings. At the owners discretion parties may be asked to pay a noise deposit of £10 per person on arrival in cash. Out of consideration for those with young families, we ask that there is no noise please between 11pm and 8am. Electric hook up pitches (16 amp for premium electric pitches and 10 amp for standard electric pitches) are available on gravel or hard standing to accommodate touring caravans, tents and motor homes. These must be booked in advanced. Car parking is next to your pitch. A digital TV aerial is required in the Lake District to receive signal.

I've been visiting Park foot since my childhood and it's a place I love to go back to time and time again. Poorly bridge village is a 10 minute walk which offers cafes, shops and a very generous pub crawl! A Very kid friendly place with play parks, a clubhouse, and pony trekking opportunities! The camp site offers a shop onsite as well as a takeaway. Showers and ablutions are kept clean at all times!
