The museum contains a spectacular collection of the local Jurassic marine fossils. The collection grows each year and is now probably the best fossil collection on public display in SW England. Open daily from 10am to 5pm Feb to October.

Dinosaurland Fossil Museum is situated in the narrow streets of the Old Town and there is no car parking on site. The car parks at Charmouth Road and Holmbush (on the A3052 to Sidmouth) are long stay carparks which charge 2.00 per day. The nearest carpark is on Hill Road, but like other carparks in the town, is much more expensive.
