Description
Travel across the causeway to Holy Island and discover this magical place. Lindisfarne Castle was converted by famed architect Sir Edwin Lutyens into a private holiday home for Edward Hudson, founder of Country Life magazine.
2019 is a year of stories, discoveries and paradoxes in a castle (thats not a castle), on as island (thats not an island). Weve seized the opportunity, whilst the castle is still without the majority of its furnishings, to bring to life the stories of the castle, as yet untold. The exhibition called 'Now you see me' which runs until 3 November includes stories from the previous five centuries of the castle's history.
