Cont..The owner is very friendly and helpful. He was available for 2 h after the ferry arrived to show us the facilities and availble by phone to help us with anything else. In the morning there were some young staff about cleaning. Quiet site, ok as a base to explote Tiree. Owner also runs surf lessons. Not Caravan Club standard but ok

It's a basic Rough and Ready Campsite. When we stayed in Aug it had Campers, Motorhomes and tents. There is a gravelly 'hardstanding' area for Motorhomes and you can stretch your electric cable into a barn to get electrics. Cont....chemical disposal is a homemade funnel into a drain. There is also a Nissen hut with an indoor shower/toilet/basin room. All showers are basic with varying pressure but mostly hot, except peak times, reasonably clean & ok for a short stay.
