Description

Situated in the Loch Lomond amd Trossachs National Park and directly on the famous West Highland Way, Drymen Camping welcomes guests from all over the world both backpacking and just on holiday exploring the local area. The Rob Roy Way and John Muir Way cycle route are also both within a stones throw. We have a field with pitches for small backpacker sized tents and a second for family sized tents, campervans (sorry no caravans or motorhomes), or anyone who'd simply enjoy a larger pitch! For the glampers we have two Greenpods with double beds, and the awesome Landpod sleeping up to 4 guests. These are all off grid but have solar powered lighting and charging points. We also offer two Kocoons that sleep two people in each. Facilities including hot showers and phone charging are included in the price. There is a large shelter/cooking area, and a small shop onsite and a mile or so up the road in Drymen itself there's a good choice of pubs and a couple of shops and cafes. Four-legged friends are welcome at Drymen Camping, dogs must however be kept on the lead and supervised at all times, and any fouling binned immediately. Our strict no noise after 10pm policy ensures a peaceful camping experience for alnour guests. Please read our terms and conditions for our on site alchohol policy. We look forward to welcoming you!

Updated. This site has well maintained pitches and level ground for hiking tents. I did see the odd car in another field. The chap running friendly and helpful. There are limited spaces so busy times be aware. There is a bank of plugs for phone charging in a large barn with picnic tables, this is where the toilets and showers are. The showers are nice and large and he always seems to be cleaning those and the toilets. So very clean It right on West Highland Way, he has a small shop and seemed to have all you want as a walker. From plasters to baked beans. They also sell home made Pizzas in the evenings you text/WhatsApp your order these were really nice and highly recommend them.
