Description

Nybster Broch, situated in Auckengill, (between Keiss and John O Groats on the East coast of Caithness), It was uncovered in the 19th Century by Sir Francis Tress Barry. The walk to the Broch is straightforward, from a small carpark off the main road.

Beautiful spot, overlooking the ocean, quiet. Don't park near the monument on the grass though, park on the bitumen.
