Our CL is located in the South Loch Ness area of the Scottish Highlands. Set at the grounds of our country house hotel in the rural Strathnairn valley and only 15 miles from the city ofInverness, the capital of Highland Scotland. The site is adult only and pets are also welcome. All sites are hard standing with fresh water and drainage, plus electric hook-up and fantastic views of our rural mountainous vista and plenty of wildlife.
Excellent for touring and visiting Loch Ness and Urquhart castle with cruises to see Nessie, Culloden battlefield and Cawdor castle, great walks and cycling plus the RSPB Loch Ruthven within walking distance. Local tourist details are always available in the hotel. Our restaurant (reservations please) and bar are available when you return from the days adventures.
The main supermarkets are in Inverness but the local shop in Farr has some provisions.

Small site at the side of a small hotel. There are 5 hardstanding pitches. Each pitch has its electric hookup and its own water and waste point. Set on two levels with views across the Glen. Good phone reception on Three, no TV reception but TV signal fed to pitches. We didn't try the food or bar, closed due to covid when we visited.
