Description

In the beautiful quiet setting on the southern shore of the Beauly Firth, the Park enjoys wonderful views over the water to Ben Wyvis and the hills beyond. Our 20 acres of peaceful sheltered parkland surrounded by mature trees offer a welcome haven for campers and caravanners with a friendly informal family-run atmosphere. Bunchrew is like the hub of a wheel - from here you can access the entire Highlands within a few hours. Just 60 miles to the west lies the West Coast, within 10 minutes drive you can be in the heart of europe's last great wilderness. Inverness is just 3 miles to the east. Bunchrew is open to visitors from the middle of March to the end of November, (touring bookings in December are accepted weather permitting) We have approximately 125 level, grassy pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, of which 75 are supplied with electrical hook-ups, and the site is well provided with all the facilities you will need for a comfortable stay, whether you stop for a night, a week, or longer. The park is FREE FROM MIDGIES with the exception of a very few evenings in the summer !. The countryside can change dramatically during the varying seasons of the year: in the Spring the hills and gardens are bursting with colour and the midges are not quite ready to make your acquaintance yet, the Summer days and nights are long and encourage everyone to take out their cameras. Autumnal colours are simply spectacular and the winter months can be equally breathtaking with sharp, clear and crisp days - but chilly nights! You can also bring your dog (except Rottweiler and Pit Bull breeds) as long as it is well-behaved, kept on a lead and the owner cleans up when necessary.

Very nice place. We stayed right next to the stream. Over looking the water. Gorgeous. Showers a bit basic, but still had a hot shower. Toilets clean. Quiet place. Would definitely come back again. Only stayed 1 night.

Nice site, but can be noisy. There were two large fields, could choose where to park campervan. But because of open space people were playing football near where I was parked. Owner allows people to arrive after reception closes and pay in morning. So they could be arriving in night. Large amount of space might be handy if you are stuck for somewhere as there will probably be space, but was a bit noisy with groups of people on site and cars driving around.

Pleasant site, stayed down by the banks of the estuary (unpowered). Good amenities. Ample showers and toilets, well maintained. Pot wash area though no camp kitchen. Excellent location for exploring Inverness.
