Tarbert Holiday Park is the perfect overnight stop when you want to get the early ferry its close to ferry terminals for Islay, Arran, Gigha and the Cowal peninsula. Its also a good base from where to explore Kintyre, where youll find everything from whisky and gin distilleries to long distance walking routes and a multitude of festivals! Situated close to the Kintyre Way, Tarbert Holiday Park is perfectly positioned for people who want to walk all, or part, of this 100-mile trail. Its also a great location for mountain biking as it combines some off road sections with forestry paths. Tarbert Holiday Park is just a ten-minute drive from pretty village of Tarbert, Loch Fyne. Here youll find lots of independent shops selling some original gifts, as well as a number of cafes and restaurants. Be sure to also take a walk up to Robert the Bruces castle, which although now ruined, dominates the village skyline. West Loch Shores paddlesports centre which runs between Easter and October is nearby and offers kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddleboarding. These can be hired by the hour, or if youd prefer, you can book a session with their fully qualified paddlesports coach. The park has free wifi and a brand new toilet block with showers and disabled facilities. Also well behaved dogs are welcome. Our newly built kitchen and dining area allows guests to prepare food and have somewhere to eat as well as wash up! Our canteen area is a great place to meet other guests and swap ideas on what to do in the area.
