Description

The countryside around Moffat, famous for its toffee and wool shops, is some of the most beautiful but least explored in Scotland. Craigieburn Forest, spreading up the valley side from the Moffat Water, offers great views of the rolling hills if you dont mind a bit of a climb. Craigieburn Trail A wonderfully varied walk up to a great viewpoint over Moffat Dale and the dramatic hills of the Southern Uplands. 2.75miles (4.5km)
