Floors Castle is not only a Dukes family home, but also the heart of the diverse Roxburghe Estates in a beautiful part of the Scottish Borders. Just over an hours drive from Edinburgh and Newcastle, visit this stunning Castle and see for yourself the collection of fine art, porcelain, newly restored tapestries, grand rooms and superb views. We have woodland and riverside walks, formal and informal gardens and lots of lovely places to walk the dog, or to sit and watch the world go by. We are dog friendly! Dogs on leads are very welcome throughout the grounds and gardens (no dogs inside the castle please). There are tie up / water points, treats and alfresco dining at the Terrace and Courtyard Cafes so they neednt be shut in the car. The Castle and Grounds 2019 open: 19th April to 30th September 10.30am to 5pm October (weekends only) 10.30am to 5pm
