The village of Lochawe lies at the end of Loch Awe approximately 3 miles west of Dalmally. In addition to the Scottish baronian-style St Conan%u2019s Chapel built in 1883, it has a railway station and streamer pier. To the west of the town lies Cruchan Hydro Power Station.
