Bodowyr is a family run farm and caravan park. It is set in a rural situation with fine country views, about 6 miles from Holyhead, convenient for ferries, day trips and as a base for holidays in Anglesey.

Coming from Australia where we bush camp and rarely see another person, camping in the UK and Wales has been a bit of an eye opener for us. Having to camp surrounded by others is not something we'd choose to do. So given this type of camping is alien to us, we did enjoy the peaceful feel of this camp ground, it's manicured lawns, the spotlessly clean amenities, the super helpful and friendly host -John. Thanks for your help with making our stay in Wales an enjoyable one especially your tip about lunch at the Sea Shanty, 10 out of 10
