Beautiful location, friendly staff, reasonably priced at £10/person (1 in tent). The facilities are ok. There is no phone reception or Wi-Fi but there is a slightly temperamental pay phone.

Lovely site. We arrived roughly mid-night with no booking. Were able to set up in the late arrivals area with no issues and pay in the morning. Gorgeous area by the lake and backed onto Watkins Path. Wardens cabin have daily weather reports and staff great for advice on different treks.
