Slightly sloping tent areas: facilities are minimal and may be a problem if the site is busy: only 4 showers, 2 being unisex. Walks from site are OK but muddy in wet weather. Quiet site unless you are camping in the lowest field which is alongside a busy road. Electricity available for tents as well as caravans

Facilities improving - they have a new block for ladies, but the gents and the outdoor showers are very tired.Reception isn't obvious if you turn up outside of their manned hours - but pitch up and go up when they open at 6pm.
