Elan Oaks is a camping and caravan site based at the entrance to the beautiful Elan Valley. With direct access to this awe-inspiring estate and less than 2 miles from the historic town of Rhayader, our campsite is the perfect place to pitch up and discover Mid Wales and all it has to offer.
Whether you are cycling or walking around the reservoirs, tackling the mighty hills by foot or mountain bike, pony trekking, bird watching, photographing or just relaxing, Elan Oaks is the perfect choice for you!
All the hard standing pitches, which are open all the year round have 16 Amp electric, personal water supply, grey waste, satellite and Freeview connection, Ethernet, WiFi, XL Pitch size with hard standing for 1 car. Our CL field has room for five units. There is access to a modern shower block which have toilets, showers and wash basins. There is also a laundry room equipped with a washing machine.

Stayed here for a night in the tent on the camping field. Ground is a little hard and bent a couple of the basic pegs, so I would recommend the heavy duty pegs. There was showers and a washroom available, but they were on the other side of the site to the camping field, although, when I was there, they were in the process of building new shower blocks closer to the camping field. They did have pot washing facilities on the camping field though. Also a fridge/freezer available. Site was clean and tidy, and like most sites, is accessed via a barrier with a pin code. Enjoyed my stay and would return.
